The father of entrepreneur Elon Musk, Errol Musk, said that the probability of life outside the Earth is extremely high. He announced this on March 31, answering a question from Izvestia.

"It is obvious that there is extraterrestrial life. I think you have to be a pretty stubborn person not to come to the conclusion that there are places where life forms can be, and it is very likely that they will be very similar to us," he said.

According to Errol Musk, the main problem is the enormous distances between the stars. To reach humans, extraterrestrial civilizations must be much more advanced than earthlings. He also noted that not all stars are capable of supporting life: only a small part of them, by their characteristics, can create conditions suitable for its occurrence.
