- The lawyer explained the difference between Gosuslug notifications and summonses to the military enlistment office.
Sending letters from the Gosuslugi portal informing about changes in the Military Registration Register is not a summons and does not oblige a citizen to appear at the military commissariat. This was announced on March 31 by independent legal expert Olga Lyutnitskaya.
According to the expert, such alerts are solely related to the technical process of digitizing the work of military enlistment offices and systematizing accumulated databases.
"You don't need to take any actions yourself. This is a simple systematization. If the military enlistment office summons you, then a summons will be sent to Gosuslugi. The summons will indicate the basis for appearing at the military enlistment office and, accordingly, the date on which it is necessary to appear," she explained in an interview withLenta.ru ".
Lyutnitskaya added that now military enlistment offices are actively accumulating information in electronic form, which causes automatic notifications of data updates in the registry.
On March 28, Vice Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, Deputy Head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, recalled the possibility of obtaining a deferral from conscription without appearing before the commission. Tsimlyansky also recalled that medical examinations, psychological selection and granting of draft deferrals are now carried out for a whole year.
