Football player Fedor Smolov paid 4 million rubles to the victim in a fight

Football player Fyodor Smolov, as part of a settlement agreement, paid 4 million rubles to the victim after a fight in the cafe "Kofemania" on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street in Moscow. This was announced on March 31 by the athlete's lawyer Varvara Knutova.

"Smolov and the victim, Vladimir Kuzminov, have officially entered into a settlement agreement. On April 1, the court will consider the victim's petition to terminate the criminal case in connection with the reconciliation of the parties," she said.

It is noted that the criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing harm to health of moderate severity"). The football player admitted his guilt.

The incident occurred on May 28, 2025 on the summer veranda of the institution. During a conflict with a group of people on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, a football player punched the victim in the face.

The initiation of a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of moderate harm to health, not life-threatening") against a football player was reported on September 10 last year.

Smolov's wife Karina Istomina declined to comment on her husband's criminal case. She also stated that it was aroused "because it happened that way." The girl declined to comment further.
