The Izvestia newspaper and the REN TV channel became the leaders of the Medialogia rating in February

"The leader of the rating in February among newspapers is Izvestia,— the Media Company said in a statement.

Following the results of February, Izvestia once again confirmed its status as the leader among the print media in Russia. The newspaper Kommersant is in second place (CI — 1,591.29), and Rossiyskaya Gazeta is in third place (CI — 734.06).

Among the newspaper's most popular materials is an interview with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko. Izvestia also reported that the State Duma had asked the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) to check whether cucumbers had risen sharply in price. In addition, the publication reported on the situation in Mexico.

Meanwhile, REN TV channel topped the top of the most quoted Russian TV channels. The citation index was 556.34. REN TV reported on a helicopter crash in the Amur region, an attack by a teenager on a school in Ufa, the rescue of a Russian woman from slavery in Myanmar, and an SUV that fell through the ice of Lake Baikal.
