VK Lecture hall of Moscow Fashion Week gathered almost 100 industry experts
The VK Lecture Hall was held at Moscow Fashion Week, a special program where almost 100 experts and opinion leaders in the field of fashion shared their experience and knowledge with future and current industry experts in six days.
Speakers include Alena Akhmadullina, Alexander Arutyunov, Alexander Rogov, Alexey Sukharev, Victoria Chuma, Lilia Rakh, Lina Dembikova, Misha and Kitty, and others. Videos featuring fashion experts from the VK Lecture Hall of Moscow Fashion Week will be available exclusively in VK Videos.
The most popular topics of the VK Lecture Hall were: "The future of the fashion industry: development scenarios", "Modern fashion stylist: between creativity and service", "Inside the dressing room: the relationship between stylist and star" and "How the fashion canon is formed and who is rewriting it today". The discussions focus on the future of the Russian fashion industry, technological changes and the transformation of professional standards.
Alena Akhmadullina, a leading Russian designer and founder of the Alena Akhmadullina brand, shared her vision of the future of the Russian fashion industry: "Russian designers know how to work with the cultural code, images, and symbols. But fashion is not only the creative part, it is also management, marketing, and distribution. I see the future of our industry in combining these two components."
Evgenia Plotnikova, media producer, VK Techprosvet Lecture Hall, continued the topic of industry development, emphasizing that the key to achieving this balance is the ability to adapt — the willingness to adapt to new technologies: "Now only those who know how to adapt quickly and quickly accept new conditions benefit. I see many such examples — and not only in the fashion industry. This does not negate traditions and values, but flexibility is critically important today. New technologies are emerging — they need to be integrated."
The topic of the importance of personal presence in the media space was developed by designer Alexander Arutyunov: "Today, everyone should be a bit of a blogger. If you don't run social media, you don't broadcast, no one will come to you."
A separate lecture was devoted to the role of the influencer and building relationships within the media market. Karina Nigai, a stylist, blogger, and TV presenter, shared the secret of long-term audience retention: "I've always had one niche–I've always lived in it, explored it, and never left or right. And it seems to me that this is what has allowed us to hold the audience's attention for so many years. Today, the time people spend with you is worth a lot."
