The Island of Dreams cultural and entertainment cluster has prepared a special program for Cosmonautics Day. On April 12, 2026, an open program of the International Technoscientific Educational Forum (TNF) with the participation of the BRICS countries will be held in the space of the city's promenade. The event will bring together music, science, education and live communication with space industry experts.

A concert by students of the JockerSchool school awaits the guests on the central stage. The program will continue with meetings with space industry professionals. Test cosmonaut Oleg Blinov will talk about life in orbit, working in zero gravity, and what the Earth looks like from a window.

The program also includes a Q&A session with aerospace engineer Nikita Matasov. Participants will learn how Mars rovers work, what technologies have come into everyday life from the space industry, and what prospects space exploration offers.

The interactive part of the program includes quizzes and quizzes about astronautics. Guests will be able to test their knowledge, learn more about Yuri Gagarin's preparation for flight, understand the design of rockets and get acquainted with future space missions. A separate section will be devoted to astronomy — participants will be told what can be seen with one of the largest telescopes in Europe.

An animation area with interactive stations and creative activities will be open throughout the day. The festive atmosphere will be created by artists in the images of astronauts: they will interact with the guests, involve them in games and help them navigate the program.

A special place will be occupied by master classes that combine creativity and an educational format. Participants will be able to create space compositions, get acquainted with the structure of the Solar System, make a keychain in the shape of a star and assemble their own constellation model. The program is designed for both children and adults and allows them to get acquainted with the topic of space in an easy and entertaining way.

Additionally, the interactive Space Puzzle stations will operate on the site, where participants will assemble a model of the Solar System, Space Black Holes, a game of dexterity and precision of movements, as well as a Space Balancer that develops coordination and attention.

"Cosmonautics Day is an opportunity to talk about science through understandable and engaging formats. We have combined an educational and entertaining program so that guests can not only spend time with interest, but also gain new knowledge, communicate with experts and feel like a part of the cosmic world," said Ekaterina Loshkareva, Deputy General Director for Marketing Communications at Islands of Dreams.
