Namin's stepson was sentenced to 18 years in prison in a double murder case.
A court has sentenced Roman Tkachenko, the stepson of rock musician Stas Namin (real name is Anastas Mikoyan), accused of murdering his grandmother and stepbrother, to 18 years in a high-security penal colony. This was reported by a correspondent of Izvestia on March 31 from the hall of the Moscow Regional Court.
The prosecutor requested 20 years in prison for Tkachenko. The defense's version that he had killed his family in a state of passion was considered far-fetched by the state prosecution. The results of the examinations proved that Tkachenko was not suffering from mental disorders at the time of the murder.
At the same time, the man himself stated that on the day of the massacre, he allegedly experienced a split personality and acted on behalf of an alter ego named "Zera."
The bodies of Namin's mother-in-law and his 30-year-old son Artyom with multiple stab wounds were found in their house in the village of Kryukovo near Moscow on the night of October 19, 2023.
As the source of Izvestia noted, Tkachenko quarreled with relatives over the sale of the house. During the conflict, he killed his grandmother, after which he called his brother and told him what had happened. When he arrived at the scene, Roman dealt with him as well. After the crime, Tkachenko called the police and confessed to the crime.
Tkachenko pleaded guilty to the crime. According to him, he, who has survived "at least 10 concussions," has been allegedly communicating with his "other self" for several years.
