So, in the Republic of Ingushetia, in the morning, on 24 km of the Nazran —Malgobek —Nizhny Kurp—Terek regional highway, a 38-year-old female crossover driver collided with a bus carrying 13 passengers when leaving the adjacent territory. As a result of the accident, the culprit of the collision was killed, five bus passengers were hospitalized with injuries, and eight more passengers were sent for outpatient treatment after receiving medical attention. The driver's license has not been issued to the motorist before.

The State Traffic Inspectorate called on citizens who have not been trained in driving schools and have not received the right to drive vehicles in accordance with the established procedure, or who have been deprived of such a right, to refrain from trying to get behind the wheel and drive onto public roads. By their reckless actions, they endanger not only their personal lives and health, but also the lives and health of other road users.

As a result of 70 accidents, 25 of which occurred at pedestrian crossings and 45 outside their area of operation, seven pedestrians were killed, 68 more were injured in various degrees of severity. Among the injured were 14 underage pedestrians, nine of whom were injured when crossing the roadway outside the designated areas. There were also 30 accidents involving minors, in which 30 young road users, including 11 passengers, were injured. There are no dead children.

In addition, temporary restrictions or traffic closures were introduced in some regions of the country due to adverse weather conditions or the onset of spring floods. So, in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, due to the deterioration of the weather in the adjacent territory, traffic on the federal highway A-161 Vladikavkaz -Nizhny Lars — border with the Republic of Georgia has been temporarily stopped since yesterday evening in the direction of departure from Russia.

In the Moscow region, as a result of the flood, sections of 4 regional highways have been flooded, which is why traffic has temporarily stopped along them. A similar situation has developed in the Lipetsk region, where traffic on 13 highways of regional significance has been stopped due to rising water levels, as well as in the Republic of Bashkortostan, where flooding has stopped traffic on one of the regional highways.

"When planning long-distance trips, the State Traffic Inspectorate recommends that drivers and passengers monitor the weather forecast, as well as media reports from traffic closures or restrictions. In case of a negative forecast or an unfavorable flood situation, we recommend postponing the trip to a later date until weather conditions and traffic conditions improve.
