Peskov warned about measures in case the skies of EU countries are used by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Kremlin will analyze the situation and take retaliatory measures if the facts of the use of the airspace of the European Union (EU) countries by Ukrainian drones for strikes on the territory of Russia are confirmed. This was announced on March 31 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Of course, we believe that if this is the case, the provision of airspace for hostile terrorist activities against the Russian Federation, then this will oblige us to draw appropriate conclusions and take appropriate measures," he said.

Peskov noted that the Russian military is carefully monitoring the situation. Based on the data received, they come up with relevant proposals, which are subsequently considered, he added.

On March 26, Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma's defense committee, called on EU countries to think about the risks of helping Ukraine. Kolesnik believes that the Baltic states and other countries in the northwestern region, including Poland, are trying to avoid possible retaliatory claims for arms supplies to Ukraine.
