The Ministry of Education has denied reports of compulsory learning of a third language.

Compulsory study of a second foreign language in high schools is not provided. This was announced by the Ministry of Education on March 31.

"This subject is (a second foreign language. — Ed.) can be studied at the choice of students based on the application of the children themselves or their parents (legal representatives) and if the necessary conditions are available in the educational organization," the message says.
