10 bridges flooded in Tula region due to flooding
In the Tula region, as of Tuesday morning, March 31, 10 low-water bridges in five municipalities were flooded due to active snowmelt. This was reported by the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
We are talking about three bridges in the Suvorovsky district, two in Shchekinsky and Odoyevsky, one in Belevsky and two in the Tula city district. In eight cases, the Upa River overflowed its banks, and in the other two, the Oka River.
A more detailed list of flooded bridge structures can be found on the agency's website. The flood situation is under the control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, TSN24 writes.
Earlier it was reported that in 2026, more than 100 settlements of the Tula region will fall into the flood zone. The authorities have prepared an individual response plan for each of them.
