Ice crossings are gradually being closed in the Khabarovsk Territory. The reason is the high risk of equipment and people falling through the ice.

IA AmurMedia, with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region, writes that the crossing of the Sutyr River in the village of Tyrma was closed in the Verkhnebureinsky district. The Katen River crossing has stopped working in the Lazo area. The Amur river crossing, which connected the two banks, from the port of Nikolaevsk-on-Amur dam to the village of Podgornoye, is not operating in the Nikolaevsky district.

In the near future, all road and information signs will be dismantled, and the exits to the ice will be blocked.

At the moment, eight crossings remain in the region under the control of the GIMS inspectors of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The rescue department warns that it can be dangerous to travel to reservoirs in places where the work of ice crossings has been stopped. It is also dangerous to move along independently punched ruts on rivers.

In mid-February, it was reported that almost 30 winter shelters were opened in the Khabarovsk Territory in 11 municipalities. One of the routes was located within the borders of Khabarovsk, IA AmurMedia writes.
