US President Donald Trump has informed his advisers of his intention to end the US military operation against Iran, even if the passage through the Strait of Hormuz remains generally closed to shipping. This was reported on March 30 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing sources.

"Trump has told his aides that he is ready to end the US military campaign against Iran, even if the Strait of Hormuz remains largely closed," the publication said.
