The Ministry of Transport talked about pizza delivery by drones in the future
Drones that deliver pizza instead of couriers will become commonplace within three to four years. This opinion was expressed on March 31 by the head of the Ministry of Transport Andrey Nikitin.
"Two years have passed from the appearance of the delivery robot to its relatively widespread use. I think three to four years at most," Nikitin told RIA Novosti, which he said in response to a question about when people will be able to use operational drone delivery.
It is known that digitalization and technology development are on the list of topics of the International Transport and Logistics Forum (ITLF), which starts in St. Petersburg on April 1.
Igor Ivanov, a political scientist and researcher of political communications, said on March 30 that artificial intelligence (AI) has already become an integral part of the work of thousands of companies around the world, so there is no need to talk about its disappearance or abandonment. According to him, the main mistake is to introduce AI without explaining its benefits. It is much more effective to show in practice that this is an assistant tool: not only for routine tasks like letters and reports, but also through simple, "humane" scenarios - from creating greetings to entertainment functions.
