The State Duma reminded Russians about responsibility for barbecue in the yard
Russians face fines for cooking kebabs in the courtyards of apartment buildings, as well as on apartment balconies. This was recalled on March 31 by Sergey Kolunov, Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services, the United Russia party.
"There can be no kebabs on balconies and in courtyards of apartment buildings!" the parliamentarian warned.
It is noted that lighting an open fire in unsuitable places is a violation provided for in Article 20.4 of the Administrative Code ("Violation of fire safety requirements"). Individuals can face a fine of up to 15,000 rubles for cooking kebabs on a private balcony or a public balcony, and up to 400,000 rubles for legal entities.
"And this is in the event that an open fire did not cause fire, damage to property or loss of life," the deputy noted.
Kolunov recalled that, according to fire protection requirements, an open fire can be lit at a distance of at least 50 m from residential or commercial buildings, or in specially designated areas.
Immunologist Elena Sycheva warned on March 26 about the risks of the early opening of the barbecue season. She noted that temperature fluctuations and the state of the immune system can increase the risk of the spread of infectious diseases at the early opening of the barbecue season. According to the expert, March is a period when the immune system is weakened after winter, and temperature fluctuations create stress for the body. Thus, in conditions of unstable spring temperatures, pathogens such as campylobacteria and salmonella are especially dangerous.
