The first stage of the Clean Air project was completed in Ulan-Ude in 2025. This was announced by the head of the city Igor Shutenkov at a session of the City Council, presenting a report on the work of the administration over the past year.

"We have removed the stove smoke from some of the houses and put filters on the boiler rooms. And it's already working — it's getting easier to breathe in these areas, and the amount of emissions in the city is decreasing," said the mayor.

Electric filters were installed in three boiler houses, four transformer substations were reconstructed, and 161 houses were switched to electric heating.

So, electric boilers were installed in the boiler room that serves school No. 23. As noted by IA UlanMedia, this improved the power supply of the Left Bank, 140 blocks and the Zabaikalsky microdistrict.

Earlier it was reported that construction of a water pipeline and sewerage system in Ulan-Ude began on the territory of a new residential complex in the Vostochny microdistrict. It is intended for employees of an aircraft factory.
