On March 30, the Israeli Parliament adopted in the first reading a bill on the death penalty for terrorists.
"The Knesset (Israel's parliament — Ed.) has advanced a bill on the death penalty for terrorists, proposed by Itamar Ben-Gwer, by a vote of 39 to 16. Now the bill will return to the committees for further discussion before it becomes law," The Jerusalem Post newspaper said.
