US President Donald Trump intends to reach a deal with Iran before April 6. This was announced on March 30 by White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt during a press briefing.

"I know that the president has set a deadline of April 6, which is just one week away," Leavitt said.

She did not provide details about a possible upcoming agreement.
