In Chita, the road surface on three streets will be updated

Chita plans to bring almost 8.5 km of roads to a standard condition in 2026. Repairs will take place on three streets, the press service of the city hall reported on Monday, March 30.

The most extensive work will be carried out on Olimpiyskaya Street, which connects Zheleznodorozhny and Chernovsky administrative districts. 3.75 km of road surface will be renewed at the facility — this is the entire section from Romanovsky Tract to Kosmonavtov Street.

The repair will be carried out by ADS-S company. She will also carry out road works on Kurnatovsky Street in the section from Lenin Street to Sukhoi Pad with a length of 2,125 km.

The third road object, a 2.6 km long section of the Molokovsky Tract, will be brought to a standard state by the Nika organization.

According to ChitaMedia news agency, municipal contracts for all three streets were signed from November to December 2025. The work should be completed by November 10, 2026.

Earlier it was reported that three pedestrian crossings on Zhukov Avenue will be equipped in Chita after a tragic accident. The traffic management project is at the stage of coordination and approval.
