Igor Grebennikov, the sports director of the Rodnye Talenty school football Academy, told Izvestia on March 31 by what signs it is possible to understand that a child has prospects in football.

"Football remains the most popular sport in the world, with about 4 billion people watching it. At the same time, it is considered one of the most difficult and highly paid, so many parents tend to send their children to specialized sections," the expert said.

According to Sergey Lomakin, the founder of the Native Talents project, the key principle of selection should be real abilities and athletic achievements. One of the basic signs is the child's behavior on the field. It is important whether he wants to participate in the game, take the initiative and make decisions, or prefers to stay on the sidelines. The desire to be in the center of events and actively express themselves is a characteristic feature of future professional players.

An equally important factor is intrinsic motivation. An interest in football should go beyond the usual hobby. If a child trains independently, takes the initiative, follows the matches, tries to repeat the actions of the players and analyzes his own mistakes, this indicates serious involvement. Without steady motivation, even a high level of technology rarely leads to professional growth.

Grebennikov also drew attention to the speed of learning. Promising players learn new exercises, technical elements, and tactical schemes faster. If a child performs tasks better than his peers after several screenings and adapts easily to new requirements, this may indicate his potential.

The key criterion, according to the expert, remains the speed of thinking and decision-making. The ability to quickly assess the situation on the field, see partners and free zones, as well as choose optimal actions in a split second distinguishes high-level players.

At the same time, the expert stressed that it is premature to draw final conclusions about the prospects of a child under 13-14 years old, but the first signs of talent usually appear at an earlier age.

Ekaterina Demyanovskaya, an expert at the Hemotest laboratory, told Izvestia on March 6 that returning to training after an infection was dangerous. According to her, the key risk factor is the impact of the virus on the myocardium. Influenza viruses, adenoviruses and other ARVI pathogens are tropic to cardiomyocytes, that is, they have the ability to infect heart cells. In the acute phase of the disease, the immune system attacks the virus, but after the main symptoms subside, the inflammatory process in the myocardium may persist or develop after a while. Intense physical activity at this time can lead to an overload of the myocardium, which can become critical in conditions of vulnerability of the heart muscle after an infection.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
