Onishchenko supported the idea of switching to a six-day work week

On March 30, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Education Gennady Onishchenko expressed support for the initiative to switch part of the Russian real sector to an enhanced work schedule.

"I support Deripaska<...> We need to approach this in a differentiated way. A part of our economy has already moved a long time ago (to such a schedule. — Ed.), they work not only on Saturday, but also on Sunday, they work around the clock. As for all other industries, in any case, the majority can do this in principle, but legislation needs to be adjusted for this," Onishchenko said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
