Emergency mode introduced in Dagestan fires due to consequences of flooding
A state of emergency was introduced in Dagestan lights due to the large-scale consequences of flooding in the city. This was announced by the city administration on March 30.
"Given the scale of the consequences, the meeting decided to introduce a state of emergency (emergency) in the city," the administration wrote on the Telegram channel.
It is noted that working groups have already begun to visit houses based on complaints from citizens to assess the damage.
On the same day, the main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Dagestan reported that rescuers in the region were stabilizing the situation with flooding caused by record rains in the republic. They monitor the hydrological situation, pump water from basements, and also clean rooms of debris and trees.
In some regions of Dagestan, precipitation exceeded 50 mm, setting new highs for a long time. Due to the effects of bad weather, the republic's administration has introduced a high-alert regime, which will be in effect until Monday.
