Sales of JAC T8 Pro pickups in Russia are coming to an end

Sales of the JAC T8 Pro pickup truck are coming to an end in Russia. This was reported on March 30 by the Telegram channel of the Chinese Cars portal with reference to data on registration of cars in the Russian Federation from Autostat Info.

So, in January 2026, only eight JAC T8 Pro pickups were registered in Russia, and in February — nine. It is noted that only one advertisement for the sale of the new T8 Pro can be found on popular classifieds.

It is noteworthy that the Sollers ST8 model, which is a Russian-localized JAC T8 Pro produced under a domestic brand, sold 68 copies in two months.

According to the price lists on the official JAC website, the T8 Pro pickup truck is offered only in the 2023 (3.11 million rubles) and 2024 (3.34 million rubles) versions. It is available in a single configuration and is equipped with a 2.4-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 211 hp (320 Nm) combined with a six-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system with a plug-in front axle and a mechanical locking rear differential. The rear suspension is a dependent spring suspension.

According to the results of the first two months of 2026, 721 cars of the Chinese brand JAC were sold in Russia. As noted on March 27, this is more than two times (-52%) less than in January-February last year.

At the same time, it was reported that sales of SWM and Kaiyi cars, which were assembled at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, had almost disappeared. In the first case, in January-February, the volume fell by 91.3%, in the second — by 94%.
