Iran has claimed the deaths of 246 women as a result of strikes by the United States and Israel.

As a result of the shelling of Iranian territory by the United States and Israel, numerous civilian casualties have been recorded. This was announced on March 30 by the official representative of the Government of the Islamic Republic, Fatemeh Mohajerani.

According to information provided by the Tasnim news agency in its Telegram channel, 246 women and 216 minors were the targets of the attacks. It is specified that among the dead children there are 17 people under the age of five.

The head of the Tehran Provincial Ambulance Department, Mohammad Esmail Tavakolli, said on March 16 that the death toll from the US and Israeli strikes on the capital province had reached 503 people, including 12 children aged two months to 12 years. According to him, 5,700 people were injured during the hostilities, most of whom were civilians.
