Russians have the right to demand a refund from the owner of the cinema for tickets if loud conversations, whispers or rustling of neighbors in the chair interfered with watching the movie. Ilya Rusyaev, a lawyer and founder of the Rusyaev Club business community, told about this on Monday, March 30.

According to the expert, cinema visitors do not have an automatic right to refund the ticket price due to someone else's behavior, but article 29 of the Law on Consumer Rights Protection makes it possible to file claims if the service was provided improperly. This concept most often means either a serious delay or a complete refusal to show a movie, the lawyer added.

"The noise of other viewers does not directly appear in this list, but if it was significant, the administration did not respond to requests and comments, and the viewing was actually disrupted, the demand for a refund or a proportionate reduction in price can legally be built through the construction of improper provision of services," Rusyaev said in an interview with Paragraph.

The expert stressed that the chances of a spectator recovering the full cost of a ticket increase if he was forced to leave the hall or a significant part of the session was ruined. 360.ru .

Rusyaev noted that it is useful to record the very fact of the violation and inaction of the administration, save the ticket and receipt, record video or audio if possible, and then send a written complaint to the cinema.

"If the dispute goes to court, the consumer, in case of proven violation, can expect compensation for moral damage, as well as a fine of 50% of the amount awarded in his favor. A common complaint in the spirit of "they were whispering nearby for five minutes" without contacting the administrator and without any evidence usually has no prospects," he concluded.

On March 23, Roman Isaev, a member of the Board of the Association of Cinema Owners (AVK), told NSN that movie ticket prices in Russia have finally settled at a more or less balanced level, so there will be no strong growth in the future.

Earlier, on February 14, it became known how often Russians go on dates and how much they spend on them. According to the results of a survey involving 1.5 thousand HUmope users, 30% of men and 25% of women go to romantic meetings several times a month, 20% of the stronger sex and 18% of the study participants do this only on special occasions, and another 17% of respondents — every six months or less. At the same time, 25% of women and 29% of men do not date. The number of movie ticket purchases increased by 9% with an average check of 583 rubles. This is the only segment that has shown significant growth.
