Bashneft has started production of Rosneft engine and transmission oils

Industrial production of Rosneft Diesel and Rosneft Maximum engine oils, as well as Rosneft Kinetic transmission oils, has been launched at the Ufa oil refining complex of Bashneft (part of Rosneft). The products have passed a full cycle of tests that have confirmed compliance with international quality standards, Rosneft said.

The launch of production became part of Bashneft's systematic work to increase the volume of lubricants production, the company stressed. The products were developed taking into account Russian climatic and operational conditions. The components for the oils, including high-tech ones, are manufactured at Rosneft enterprises.

Rosneft Diesel 10W-40 and 15W-40 oils are designed for all-season operation of diesel engines. They are used in high-powered diesel engines of mainline, quarry, road construction and other machinery. The composition of these lubricants is designed to keep the engine clean in harsh operating conditions, the company noted.

Rosneft Maximum 10W-40 oil is developed for gasoline and diesel engines of passenger cars and light-duty trucks, including those equipped with turbocharging. In the transmission product line, the company introduced Rosneft Kinetic MT 80W-90 oil for manual transmissions and semi-synthetic all-season Rosneft Kinetic Hypoid 75W-90, designed for highly loaded transmission components where an increased level of wear protection is required.
