Liksutov spoke about plans to hold a tram parade in Moscow.

On the occasion of the 127th anniversary of the Moscow tram, on April 4, a column of historical wagons from different eras will pass through the city. This was stated by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry.

"The traditional Tram Parade will take place — 16 historical wagons of different generations will once again take to the streets of the capital. This is a unique opportunity to see the techniques of the past in motion. According to the task of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we continue to develop the land transport network and acquaint passengers with its rich history," said Liksutov.

The event starts at 11:30 a.m. at Kursky Railway Station. Trams will run along the new route to Sergiy Radonezhsky Street, where a large-scale exhibition of retrotransports will open. Guests will be able to visit the salons of historical trams, see cars of different generations and take memorable photos.

The city has also prepared a large-scale program, which includes an exhibition of historical costumes of employees of the tram complex, concerts, workshops and interactive games.

Earlier it was reported that 11 unmanned trams will be launched in the capital this year, bringing the total number to 15. Also, as part of the development of the Moscow tram diameter network, it is planned to open the T2 route, which will connect Novogireevo station of the fourth Moscow central diameter with Chertanovskaya metro station. In 2026, the capital intends to complete the renovation of the tram fleet: 50 modern trams "Lion Cub-Moscow" will arrive in the capital.
