The European Commission has adopted a €1.5 billion military investment program for the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the development of its military-industrial complex (MIC). This was announced on March 30 on the website of the European Commission.

"The European Commission today adopted a €1.5 billion work program within the framework of the European Military-Industrial Program for the development and modernization of the European and Ukrainian military industries," the statement said.

The EC also clarified that the European Defense Industry Program (EDIP) will for the first time provide Ukraine with the opportunity to use the fund's funds to finance the development of its military-industrial complex. The implementation of the program is scheduled to begin on March 31.
