Warehouse workers stole 250 kg of ready-made salads and cutlets in Krasnoyarsk
In Krasnoyarsk, two men are accused of stealing 254 kg of ready meals from a supermarket warehouse. They face up to 10 years in prison, the press service of the regional department of the Interior Ministry reported on Monday, March 30.
Investigators have established that the theft was committed by a storekeeper and a freight forwarder driver who worked together in one of the retail chains. Colleagues agreed to steal ready-made food, which is delivered to stores.
When loading salads, potatoes, fried fish, cutlets, pilaf and other dishes into the car, the attackers additionally loaded boxes with ready meals, which they divided among themselves.
From October to November 2025, the defendants took out several boxes of food seven times. The damage to the supermarket amounted to more than 60 thousand rubles, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.
A criminal case has been opened under Part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft committed by an organized group." The investigation has already been completed. Now the men are on their own recognizance.
