Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on March 30 that the ruling Civil Contract party had nominated him for the post of head of government in the upcoming parliamentary elections after two rounds of internal elections.

"I thank all my friends in the party for their renewed trust in me, for the honor of heading the electoral list of the Civil Contract party and becoming a candidate for the post of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia," Pashinyan wrote on the social network.

In his Telegram channel, the politician published a musical post where he wished everyone a good day and made a gesture with his hands in the shape of a heart.

"Good morning, have a nice day and I love you all," he wrote.
