A man died in an accident in the Tomarinsky district.

The accident killed a 31-year-old man on the 186th km of the Nevelsk–Tomari – Shakhtersk airport highway in the Tomarinsky district. This was announced on March 30 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Sakhalin region.

"The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene of the accident," the Telegram channel said in a statement.

It is noted that the driver of the Toyota Cami car, moving in a southerly direction, lost control. The vehicle slid into a ditch and overturned. It was established that the man did not have a driver's license.
