American intelligence agencies lure Russians abroad under various pretexts to detain them in third countries. This was announced on March 30 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"It should also be borne in mind that US intelligence agencies often practice a fraudulent scheme to lure Russian citizens abroad with profitable commercial or tourist offers, followed by detention in a third country," RIA Novosti quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying.
