Russians have been warned about rental fraud in Turkey
Russian tourists are increasingly becoming victims of fraudsters when renting daily apartments in Turkish Alanya. This was announced on March 30 by the representative of the tourism sector, Bekir Dolmush.
"Cases of fraud with daily apartments have become more frequent: tourists are asked to make an advance payment, after which communication with the "landlords" stops," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to the expert, the spread of such schemes is associated with the active development of online platforms and social networks, where ads are placed without proper verification. Tourists, trying to save money, often choose more favorable offers without verifying their authenticity.
