One person died in a fire in an apartment building in Buryatia.
As a result of a fire in an apartment building in the village of Khonholoy in the Mukhorshibirsky district of Buryatia, one person was killed. This was reported on March 30 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the republic.
It is specified that six personnel and two pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
"During the extinguishing, a 67-year—old man was found on a bed in a room without signs of life," the agency's publication in the MAX messenger says.
According to the press service, the house and the veranda were destroyed by fire. The preliminary cause of the fire is arson.

His neighbor was able to pull the man out of the burning building, but he died after inhaling carbon monoxide before the firefighters arrived.
