NYT has learned about the US permission to allow a Russian oil tanker to enter Cuba

The United States will allow a Russian oil tanker to enter the waters of Cuba, despite the previously announced energy blockade of the island. This was reported on March 29 by The New York Times (NYT).

"The United States will allow a Russian oil tanker to reach Cuba, violating the blockade. A tanker with crude oil may arrive at its destination by Tuesday, providing the island with vital transportation in the face of strong pressure from the United States," the publication says.
