On March 29, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin spoke about the beginning of urban fighting by units of the Russian Armed Forces in Belitsky.

"In the Krasnoarmeysko-Dobropolsky direction, we see an improvement in positions in the direction of Belitsky already in the vicinity itself, in the immediate vicinity of Belitsky. There is also information that urban fighting is already underway," the head of the republic said in a video message on the Telegram channel.

Pushili also pointed to the improvement of positions in the Donbass region and progress towards Dobropillya.
