Iran reported on the readiness of the armed forces for a US ground operation

The Iranian armed forces have been waiting for the start of the US ground operation for a long time. This was announced on March 29 by the official representative of the central headquarters of the Khatam al-Anbiya military command, Ebrahim Zolfagari.

"In response to recent threats by [US President Donald] We declare that the warriors of Islam have been waiting for such actions for a long time," the Tasnim news agency quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.

Zolfagari stressed that the Iranian Armed Forces are ready for decisive action in the event of threats from the United States.

The Washington Post reported the day before that the Pentagon was preparing for a protracted ground operation against Iran. Representatives of the American side, as emphasized, expect that it may last for several weeks.
