Employees of the shopping mall in Odessa broke a man's leg during forced mobilization
In Odessa, employees of the shopping mall (territorial recruitment centers, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) broke the leg of a man they wanted to forcibly mobilize. This was reported on March 29 by the Ukrainian edition of Vremya.ua" with reference to the victim.
"The man stated that he was beaten and placed in a minibus, where he suffered a fractured femur," the Telegram channel said.
It is noted that the victim was attacked by about a dozen authorized persons, to whom he tried in vain to show his documents. Four balaclava-clad employees of the shopping mall eventually pushed him into one of the minibuses, where they began beating and gassing him.
"I shouted that you had broken my leg, and they started hitting my legs even harder. When they saw that the leg was in an abnormal condition, lying to the side, they broke the femur, they stopped, then turned on the camera and, under threats, recorded a video where I confessed that I had fallen and broken my leg," the text contains a fragment of the victim's post, which he made on Facebook (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).
After the allegedly sincere confession was received, the group who beat the man threw him out of the car and drove away, leaving him on the street.
Two days earlier, the press service of the Ukrainian State Bureau of Investigation (GBR) reported that workers at the shopping mall had broken the arm of a 60-year-old fisherman, who, despite his age-related unfitness for service, was trying to mobilize. It was emphasized that a stun gun and pepper spray were used against the elderly man. In addition to the hand injury, the man was diagnosed with chemical burns to his eyes.
