Pakistan's Foreign Minister collapsed during a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart

Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar slipped and fell during a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart. This was reported on March 29 by the Indian newspaper The Statesman.

The incident occurred at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, at the very beginning of an important diplomatic meeting. Dar, who was about to shake hands with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatti, suddenly lost his balance and fell.

The staff and security guards reacted quickly and rushed to his aid, and, fortunately, the minister was not injured. After a short pause, he quickly got to his feet, and the meeting continued without incident.
