Two people were detained in Yerevan after they clashed with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at St. Anne's Church. This was announced on Sunday, March 29, by the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, Narek Sargsyan.

"Police officers have detained two individuals on suspicion of hooliganism and interference in the legitimate official and political activities of an official," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to Sputnik Armenia, the incident occurred at the moment when Pashinyan was about to leave the church building. One of the parishioners did not like the look of the Prime Minister's guard directed at him.
