The HRC announced a high probability of unblocking Telegram in Russia

The probability of resuming the work of the Telegram messenger in Russia can be assessed as high. This was announced on March 29 by Alexander Ionov, Chairman of the Commission of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC) on international cooperation in the field of human rights.

"As far as I know, there is a high probability that the Telegram team will come to an agreement with the Russian Federation and fulfill the conditions that are required, especially regarding extremism and those channels that pose a threat to the national security of our countries," he said in an interview with TASS.
