The IRGC attacked two American aluminum plants in the UAE and Bahrain
Two US aluminum plants located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Bahrain were attacked by the Military Space Forces (VKS) and the Naval forces (Navy) of Iran. This was announced on March 29 by representatives of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
"The fighters of the aerospace and naval forces of the IRGC, in a joint and targeted operation, effectively targeted two industries related to the US military and aerospace industries in the region, including the AMAL aluminum plants in the UAE and the ALBA aluminum plant in Bahrain," the IRIB news agency quotes the message.
It also explains that the company called AMAL has the longest aluminum production line in the world. Its production capacity is 1.3 million tons. And ALBA Corporation's products, according to the IRGC, are widely used in the production of American military equipment.
The attack, as clarified, was a response to the "malicious actions" of Washington and Tel Aviv, which they committed against Iranian infrastructure facilities.
A day earlier, the IRGC called on employees of American enterprises based in the Middle East to leave their jobs. Announcing the retaliation for the attacks on the uranium concentrate plant in Ardakan and the Hondab nuclear complex in Markazi, representatives of the corps noted that the "eye for an eye" principle had stopped working, so the Israeli-American forces needed to wait for a different reaction.
