The devastating consequences for the global economy caused by the US aggression in the Middle East will be long-term. This was announced on March 29 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"We are now seeing the extremely disastrous consequences of this war for the global economy and for regional geopolitics. These consequences probably won't be short—term, they will have a long-term effect," Peskov said in an interview with TASS.
