Maduro made an appeal from the United States

On March 29, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who is in custody in the United States, posted an appeal on social networks thanking for the support of his supporters.

"We have received your messages, letters and prayers. Every word of love and support strengthens us spiritually. We are fine, firm, calm and in constant prayer," RIA Novosti quoted a statement on behalf of Maduro and his wife, Celia Flores.
