For knocking out carpets in the yard, a Russian can receive a fine of up to 5,000 rubles. This was announced on March 29 by Andrey Moiseev, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

As the expert clarified in an interview with RIA Novosti, there are no rules governing the correctness or place of carpet-beating, however, the act can be considered a violation under other regulations.
