In Russia, civil aviation has switched to a spring-summer schedule
Starting from March 29, civil aviation will operate according to the spring-summer flight schedule. This was announced on March 28 by the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
"Tonight, civil aviation will switch to the spring-summer flight schedule (navigation) — it will be valid until the last Saturday in October 2026. There will be additional flights to popular destinations within the country," the agency said in a message on the MAX messenger.
According to the agency, in the summer schedule, airlines will expand their route network and increase the frequency of flights to popular destinations. Aeroflot will offer more than 160 routes and traditionally strengthen flights between Moscow and the cities of the Far East during the holidays and school holidays.
It is specified that the expansion of the international program is expected. New flights will open to Serbia from Nizhny Novgorod. Additionally, an Uzbek airline will enter the market, which intends to operate flights from Tashkent to Moscow and other Russian cities.
On March 27, the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency reported that the recommendations on the use of Israeli and Iranian airspace for Russian airlines were extended until April 17. When operating flights to the Persian Gulf countries, airlines are advised to choose bypass routes through the airspace of third countries in compliance with security measures and actively monitoring the recommendations of the aviation authorities of these countries.
