The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a series of attacks on Energodar

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have launched a series of strikes on the satellite city of Zaporizhia NPP Energodar. This was announced on March 28 by Mayor Maxim Pukhov.

"The city has been hit by a series of UAV strikes on civilian infrastructure. The enemy was hitting residential areas, facilities and people. The cars of the MREO of the traffic police were destroyed," he said in a message on the Telegram channel.

It is specified that as a result of the attack, several cars also burned down, in addition, one of the UAVs hit the roof of the house, which caused the roof to catch fire. As the mayor noted, no one was injured in the attack.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces shot down 26 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of the Russian Federation in nine hours. It was clarified that the drones were eliminated over the territories of the Belgorod, Kursk, Tula regions, as well as over the Moscow region and the Republic of Crimea.
