Slovakia will not support the 20th package of European Union (EU) sanctions against Russia if the position of the European Commission (EC) remains on the side of Ukraine on oil issues. This was announced on March 28 by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

"If the European Commission is going to give preference to Ukraine over Slovakia, it may forget about supporting the 20th package of sanctions against Russia," he said, the footage of the appeal was published on his Facebook page (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation).
