As a result of a strike on an airbase in Saudi Arabia, a long-range radar detection aircraft of the Air Force (IAF) The US Boeing E-3 Sentry and several other aircraft were damaged. This was reported on March 27 by Air and Space Forces Magazine, citing sources.
"As a result of the Iranian attack on the Prince Sultan air base in Saudi Arabia on March 27, several American servicemen were injured and some aircraft were damaged. <...> Among the damaged aircraft are several tanker aircraft and an E-3 Sentry AWACS command and control aircraft," the publication says.
The day before, information appeared about 10 wounded American servicemen, as well as two more who were seriously injured.
