Izvestia correspondent Murad Magomedov, who covers the consequences of heavy rains in the Republic of Dagestan, rescued a trapped boy. Izvestia publishes relevant footage on March 28.

"That's it, let's go, keep your legs up! <...> That's how you have to save children who are trapped. <...> It's better to stay at home in this weather and not go outside," he said, carrying the minor to a safe place.

The child was found standing on the wall of one of the unfinished buildings, the foundation of which, in turn, was half a meter filled with water. A nearby car was also almost half flooded.

On the same day, due to the effects of bad weather, the republic's administration introduced a high-alert regime, which will be in effect until Monday. On March 28, the head of Dagestan said that heavy rain and wind had created a critical situation in many districts and cities of the republic. For example, a railway bridge has already collapsed on its territory, and rising water in the Yaryk-Su River has restricted traffic on automobile and pedestrian bridges.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
